Condolence Wreath Singapore

If someone you know passed away and you want to bring flowers to the funeral, it would be a good idea to get in touch with a reputable Flower Delivery Singapore shop. A reliable Florist Singapore will be able to help you, not just in choosing the right Condolence Wreath Singapore arrangement, but also in choosing the most appropriate kinds of flowers to use.

The first step, therefore is finding a flower shop that can cater to your needs and can also provide you with information on the different flowers they have available.

Understanding the Flowers

Before ordering your flowers – either through online florist or a physical flower shop – you should take a few minutes in learning what each type of flower means.

Basically, each flower says something and you should choose the types that can describe the kind of relationship you had with the deceased. To further understand and to give you the chance to know which flowers are suited for your purpose, here are some popular funeral flowers and their meanings for funerals.

  • Lilies – Nothing is more identified as funeral flowers than Lilies. This is the most commonly used funeral flowers and it suggests that dead person’s soul has peacefully returned to the state of pure innocence. If the deceased is not someone who you were really closed to, lilies are your best choice.
  • Roses – Next to lilies, roses are also very commonly used for condolence flowers arrangements. These are beautiful flowers that are deemed appropriate to be used for such circumstances. Remember though that roses come in different colors, and although all of these colors are always appreciated, they are highly symbolic as well. For instance, if you are bringing flowers for a dearly departed friend, yellow roses are your best bet. Rare pink roses in dark shades are ideal if the deceased was someone who had helped you out a lot while they were alive; this is the best rose color for showing how grateful you are. The deep and classic red colored rose represents your love for the deceased and shows your grief for the passing.
  • Orchids – These flowers have universal meaning; they mean love and devotion. They are beautiful and wild, and they are the best option if you have deep feelings for the person who passed away.
  • Carnations – These flower are used commonly in standing sprays and condolence wreath. There are also different colors of carnation and each color mean something. Christians and Catholics believe that pink colored carnations are the most ideal because many believe that these were formed from the tears of the Virgin Mary. As usual, white carnation means innocence and red ones mean affection.

There are of course, many other types of flowers that can be used for Sympathy Flowers arrangements. The important thing to keep in mind is to trust that your Flower Delivery Singapore shop offers same day flower delivery. If you are feeling a little generous you can also have a fruit basket delivered at the home of the deceased.
